google abandonia, then ask for master of magic or master of orion or Wing commander. you might get a kick out of several dos games while your at it. I will be picking up the game this next month so I will be going through all of that. Oh and the game worked fine in Dosbox without changeing any settings! if you have any further suggesting i am open to offers. i have sceen something about saveing both CD to the same directory and installing from C drive, you have to do something with the video files. I am going to see if i can install the game to run of my hard drive.
I then tried to install the game through Dosbox and when i comes to the choose directory to install i have no directory to choose from and the installation crashes, it does not seam to beable to see my C drive during this operation?. However!, when i get to a point in the game where it needs to access the CD i have a problem, Dosbox/Imperium dont seam to identify the CD drive, and i have to close the game. I was able to setup the sound so that it worked and the problems i was finding with the mouse disapeared. Have now installed Dosbox and had a go running the game as installed on my system as is. Many thanks for the help thuis far, it is most appricated as i am getting somewhere.
